New York - A New York man found a novel way of proposing to his girlfriend - he asked the New York Times crossword editor to devise a puzzle that had "WillYouMarryMe" as an answer to one of the clues.
Mr Bill Gottlieb wanted no doubt about the outcome, so he and the puzzle compilers built in another clue with the answer "Yes" for his girlfriend, Ms Emily Mindel, an avid fan of the crossword. She said yes.
