A novice windsurfer, who cut "her foot on glass in a French lake, has been awarded £9,000 damages in the Circuit Civil Court.
Ms Louise Baker, Monaloe Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin, was learning to windsurf at Campotel, La Reserve, in 1992 when she stepped on glass at the bottom of the shallow lake, the court heard. Ms Baker had sued Keycamp Holidays (Ireland) Ltd, Pembroke Row, Dublin.
