BEIJING - Chinese rescue workers put up more than 10,000 tents to help shelter an estimated 200,000 people affected by Inner Mongolia's worst earthquake in years, local officials said yesterday. It registered 6.4 on the Richter scale.

At least 18 people died and 297 were injured.
