The scene of a fire which badly damaged the ground floor of a house at Buttercup Park, Darndale, north Co Dublin, early yesterday has been preserved for investigation by the gardai. Six children and their parents escaped without injury.
The house owner said he heard a noise in the house immediately before the fire.
