A grant of £600,000 has been provided by the Minister for Health, Mr Cowen, to Cuisle, a holiday and rest centre at Donamon, Co Roscommon. With 60 bedrooms, a gymnasium, sports and conference facilities, it was developed by the Irish Wheelchair Association for people with disabilities. Costing £800,000, the centre was opened in June by the President, Mrs Robinson.
