Punchestown racecourse is to receive a State grant of £5 million to develop an agricultural event and exhibition centre. Construction will begin in June and is to be completed by the end of the year.
The grant was announced yesterday by the Minister for Finance, Mr McCreevy, and the Minister for Agriculture, Mr Walsh.
