A 56-year-old Franciscan brother has appeared in court on 58 charges of molesting boys. The brother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with gross indecency and buggery of six boys between 1975 and 1983 in locations including Dublin, Greystones, Co Wicklow, and Salthill and Millstreet, Co Galway. Judge Terence Finn at Kilmainham District Court yesterday remanded him on continuing bail to December 10th.
