JOHANNESBURG At least 56 people were killed in South Africa's KwaZulu Natal province at the weekend, including a man who was shot dead when a provincial minister's convoy came under fire, police said.
More than 14,000 people have been killed in KwaZulu Natal in the bitter feuding between the ANC and Inkatha since 1985.
