Up to 400 Church of Ireland delegates will attend the annual meeting of the diocesan synod of Dublin and Glendalough in Dundrum, Co Dublin, this evening and tomorrow.
It will be addressed tonight by the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Rev Walton Empey. All clergy in the diocese are members of the synod, and each parish may send three lay people as representatives. The synod takes place in Taney Parish Centre.
