4 food safety notices issued in March

Two Dublin food outlets were closed for breaches of food safety laws in March, the Food Safety Authority said today.

Two Dublin food outlets were closed for breaches of food safety laws in March, the Food Safety Authority said today.

Metzo Diner, Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin 15 and Madison Food Stall, 59 Lower Dorset Street, Dublin 1 were both served with closure orders.

An improvement order was served on Halal Meats, 2 Grantham Street, Dublin 2, while a prohibition order was served on Campbells Butchers, Allingham Road, Ballyshannon, Donegal.

Closure and improvement orders will remain listed on the FSA website, www.fsai.ie, for three months, while prohibition orders are listed for one month.
