4 die after police stop car gunman

Dortmund - A motorist shot dead three police officers yesterday and killed himself after being stopped for not wearing a seatbelt in Dortmund, Germany. The man fled the police checkpoint after opening fire on officers at the scene, killing a policeman and injuring his female colleague. He then stopped in the small town of Waltrop and fired a pistol at two officers at the side of the road, killing both of them.
