Howley - A fire that devastated a Canadian chicken coop killed 38,000 market-bound birds.
Farmer Doug Legge said he was cleaning the roost when he caught a strange smell. By the time firefighters arrived, half an hour later, the coop and the chickens had gone up in smoke.
