Provisional figures from the gardaí show that the number of drink driving incidents over the last week were 376.
The statistics indicate that during the week ending yesterday, a total of 376 drink driving incidents were recorded, compared to 383 the previous week.
A Garda spokeswoman said that enforcement activities in this area of road safety "will continue to be prioritised".
