ANKARA - Turkish troops supported by air power have killed 30 Kurdish rebels in clashes in south eastern Turkey, the state run Anatolian news agency said yesterday.

It said the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrillas died in fighting over the previous 24 hours in the Sirnak province. One Turkish soldier died in the clashes, it said.
