TUZLA - Around 30,000 people rallied in this northern Bosnian town yesterday to commemorate the Muslim men slain by Bosnian Serbs near the eastern town of Srebrenica a year ago.

People streamed into Tuzla, which houses most of the 34,000 Srebrenica refugees, from all over Bosnia.

Meanwhile UN investigators said the remains of civilians in a mass grave near Srebrenica bore evidence they had been massacred, not killed in battle as Bosnian Serb officials claim.
