Three men have been arrested after cocaine, ecstasy and heroin with an estimated value of €600,000 were seized in Dublin.

A Garda statement said the seizures took place yesterday and today in the south Dublin area as a result of ongoing investigations into drug trafficking.

Members of the Garda National Drug Unit (GNDU) were assisted by local uniformed gardai and detectives in the searches.

The total street value of the drugs is estimated at €600,000 depending on forensic analysis, the Garda statement said.

"Two firearms and a quantity of ammunition along with drug dealing paraphernalia and cash were also seized. The arrested men are detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug trafficking Act at Terenure,Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda stations."
