A man aged 28 was shot in Limerick on Thursday night and is recovering in Limerick Regional Hospital. He was approached by a man carrying a handgun at 10.50 p.m. on Griffith Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston, who shot him in the chest. Gardai are trying to establish a motive and are seeking witnesses.
