Bogota - A gunfight between rival groups of prisoners in a top-security prison in Bogota has left 25 prisoners dead and 18 wounded.
The fight at Modelo prison began on Thursday and continued through the night. It started when prisoners drawn from right-wing paramilitary groups reacted with anger to the discovery, in a prison drain, of the body of one of their number, Carlos Leon, a senior paramilitary figure.
