A derelict site in Dundalk, Co Louth, has been converted into a 22,000 sq ft workspace for unemployed people to start their own business by the Dundalk Employment Partnership. The project received funding from the Government, the EU and the International Fund for Ireland. Mr William McCarter, chairman of the International Fund for Ireland, said it would continue to support initiatives in the most disadvantaged areas of Northern Ireland and the southern Border counties.
