Pristina - A landmine on a road between two Serb villages exploded beneath a car yesterday, killing two members of a Kosovo Serb family and wounding three others, the province's international administration said.

Ms Susan Manuel, a spokeswoman for the United Nations-led administration, said the incident was part of an upsurge of attacks on Serbs by ethnic Albanians, which had killed eight people in less than one week.
