2 men rescued from mountain

Two men trapped on the Wicklow mountains were rescued early yesterday. Mr James Gernon (18), of Templeogue, Dublin, and Mr David Carroll (20), of Delgany, Co Wicklow, went hill climbing at Luggala in Wicklow. They could not get down the mountain after dark. The alarm was raised at 2 a.m. after cries of help were heard and the men were brought to safety shortly after 7 a.m.
