Cartagena - Colombia's navy seized 2,866 lb (1,303 kg) of cocaine from a boat in the northern Gulf of Uraba yesterday in an operation backed by the US Coast Guard, authorities said. The would-be smugglers dumped about half their cargo into the sea.
