Two masked and armed raiders escaped with about £2,000 from the Ulster Bank in Kilcock, Co Kildare, yesterday afternoon

Two masked and armed raiders escaped with about £2,000 from the Ulster Bank in Kilcock, Co Kildare, yesterday afternoon. Nobody was injured. A Garda spokesman said the men were in their mid-20s, of medium build and wore black jackets and black balaclavas. They escaped in a red car with a Wicklow registration towards Dunboyne, Co Meath.
