Srinagar - A series of grenade explosions rocked India's Kashmir region yesterday, wounding at least 17 people including six paramilitary soldiers, police said.

Separatist guerrillas hurled a grenade at a paramilitary patrol in a crowded market-place in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, a police spokesman said.
