The Department of Justice deported 17 failed asylum seekers from Nigeria last night on a charter flight organised and paid for by the British authorities. The deportation flight is the second to leave Dublin in a week bound for Lagos, Nigeria.

On March 3rd, 21 people were returned to Nigeria as part of an operation organised through EU agency Frontex, based in Warsaw.
