A man who contracted a serious lung disease after being exposed to asbestos at work has been awarded compensation for industrial injury at the Belfast High Court. Mr William Denis Sloan (46), of Glenholm Park, Belfast, was awarded £162,000 in settlement of his action against his former employer, George Cohen and Sons Ltd.
