Maracaibo - Sixteen prisoners were killed and 32 injured yesterday when a fire caused by an electric short circuit ripped through an overcrowded cell in a maximum-security Venezuelan jail. Only four of the 16 dead had been sentenced, the rest were still awaiting trial.
