Fifteen people have been arrested in Dublin in connection with Garda investigations into the sale and supply of heroin and cocaine.

Gardaí from Clontarf and Raheny stations carried out the arrests over the last three days, including today.

Searches were carried out on a number of premises in the north Dublin area, a Garda spokesman said.

A number of those arrested have been charged and further charges are expected.

Gardaí said the arrests were part of an ongoing operation against the distribution of drugs in the Kilbarrack area and that investigations were continuing.
