13 people shot dead in Egypt

ASSIUT - Suspected Muslim militants killed 12 people and wounded one when they opened fire on a crowded street in a Qena province town, Egypt, yesterday, an Interior Ministry statement said. Security sources also said a woman was killed and 15 were wounded when gunmen opened fire on a train in Qena.
