13 die in India elections

Patna - Thirteen people were killed yesterday in the final round of staggered state elections, as exit polls predicted an easy victory for India's ruling Hindu nationalists and their allies. Voting was held in four Indian states, with the eastern province of Bihar, often dubbed as India's most lawless region, once again proving the flash-point for violence.
