Belgrade - A district court in southern Serbia yesterday sentenced 12 Kosovo Albanians to three years in jail each for attacking Serb police in Kosovo in 1998, Beta news agency said.
It said the court in Nis, Serbia's third-largest city, jailed the 12 as members of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). The 12 were accused of joining the KLA in the western Kosovo town of Glogovac in 1998 and were arrested on September 28th, 1998.
