Johannesburg - At least 12 people died and 29 were injured when a bus smashed into a mini-bus taxi north of Pretoria yesterday, South African police said.
"A bus collided head-on with a taxi. It is really very gruesome," police spokesman Capt Morne van Wyk said from the accident scene near Wahlmansdal.
