KARACHI - Eleven people were killed in violence in Karachi yesterday amid mounting tension between rival factions of an ethnic party. Most centres were shut for the second day running in a strike enforced by the ethnic Mohajir National Movement (MQM) after nine people, including five MQM workers, were shot dead on Monday.
