Amsterdam - A Dutch passenger train collided with a tractor and a goods train in southern Holland yesterday, killing one person and injuring seven others, a police spokesman said.

The accident happened just outside the town of Weert, local police said. The passenger train struck a tractor and derailed. It then was hit by the goods train, which tore open passenger carriages.
