More power cuts in Co Dublin yesterday left a total of 1,700 homes without power for a period. One in north Co Dublin left 800 homes without electricity for close to an hour. It was caused by heavy machinery pulling down an overhead line shortly after 2 p.m.
Earlier yesterday, a fault with an overhead line left homes in Shankill, Co Dublin, and Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, without power for 2 1/2 hours.
