If you’re wondering what’s with the profusion of moustaches on the upper lips of men on the streets of your town right now, you can probably chalk it down to Movember. A global effort to raise funds for and awareness of prostate cancer, Movember’s moustache- growing campaign saw more than 31 million raised worldwide last year. All cash from Movember Ireland’s fund-raising efforts, such as this appearance from London duo The Nextmen, aids the Irish Cancer Society’s Action Prostate Cancer programme.
As two-man, four- turntable tag team The Nextmen, Dom Search and Brad Baloo have been making mad-for-it dancefloor mash-ups for the past 12 years. Aside from albums like This Was Supposed To Be the Futureand compilations such as Blunted in the Backroom, the pair's real charms come to the surface when they hit a room like the South William and proceed to take the joint apart with skanking, rocking, stonking sounds and beats.
