TEXT Wednesday, starting at 7 p.m., Herman & Wilkinson will hold its monthly pawnbrokers' auction in the company's Rathmines premises. A large selection of modern and antique jewellery is included in this sale, with the more expensive items including a fivestone diamond ring, estimated to make £450-£550, a seven stone diamond and ruby ring (£400-£500), a 45 gramme gold chain (£200-£250) and a diamond and garnet bracelet (£120-£150).

The auction will also feature cameras, video and cassette recorders and electric handtools.
