(a publication I'd read), you enter various events and show your skills on the motorbike, jumping over school buses and shark-infested tanks. Gamers progress by showing skill and flair, with little concern for safety.

Joe Danger

is a deceptively straightforward game, with a side-scrolling view of the track. The dexterity of the character and his motorbike results in a variety of stunts. One quibble: if you don't accumulate enough stunts and credit for one performance, you have to repeat it, even if you've already completed the course safely. Why? But it's fun overall, with slapstick comedy, jaunty music, pleasingly colourful graphics and exaggerated character features (check out Joe's paunch).
