THE WOMEN Mean Business Conference and Awards 2010, designed to recognise the outstanding achievements of Ireland’s businesswomen, will take place on September 27th in Dublin.
The awards, now in their 4th year, will feature keynote speaker Julie Meyer, chief executive of Ariadne Capital along with Avivah Wittenberg-Cox, chief executive of 20-first and Phillip Matthews, president of the National College of Ireland.
The theme is “Believe in Change” and the day will include a panel discussion, facilitated networking with Aviva and the awards lunch. The entries received for the awards has been reduced to a shortlist of finalists from which an overall winner from five categories will be chosen.
The judging panel for the awards includes: Una O’Hare, general manager and director of ITronics Ltd; Mary McHale, principal group manager with Microsoft; Mike Jones, manager in Accenture; Frank Cronin, chief executive of Newstalk and Rosemary Delaney, managing director of WMB Publishing Ltd, who started the awards scheme.
