Waterford Wedgwood is confident that the new six-year licensing agreement with Bulgari, the contemporary Italian jeweller, "will make a significant contribution to Rosenthal", a group spokesman has said. Rosenthal, the Germany porcelain manufacturer controlled by Waterford Wedgwood, has "successfully pursued a policy of association with leading designers", he added. Under the agreement, Rosenthal will manufacture a range of products for Bulgari. The first collection, including porcelain plates, porcelain gifts, silver cutlery and crystalware, will be launched at the beginning of next year.
