US stocks closed higher yesterday as tech shares rebounded after a big drubbing a day earlier.
The Dow industrials gained 14.85 points (0.14 per cent) to close at 10,699.97 while the Nasdaq advanced 47.99 points (1.21 per cent) to 4,029.62.
The Standard and Poor's 500 rose 10.18 points (0.70 per cent) to 1,474.47.
