A £6 million development of holiday villas at Golf del Sur, Tenerife, has been announced by Irish property developers, Mr Michael Kiernan, a former Irish rugby international player, and Mr Richard Fitzgerald. The development was purchased from a liquidator last year for an undisclosed consideration.

Mr Kiernan yesterday said that 35 of the 81 villas have been sold. Prices for the five different villa styles range between £55,000 and £88,000 for the one- to two-bedrooms villas.
