The head of the union representing pilots at United Parcel Service has said that a strike against the company by its pilots was possible at Christmas time.

"A strike could potentially occur close to Christmas," Independent Pilots Association president, Mr Robert Miller has said Association members are already honouring the strike by 185,000 members of the Teamsters union against UPS, the US's largest package delivery company, by refusing to fly UPS planes.
