INFLATION in Britain edged down to a 30 month low last month, official figures showed yesterday.

INFLATION in Britain edged down to a 30 month low last month, official figures showed yesterday.

The annual rate of price increases in June was 2.1 per cent, down from 2.2 per cent in May, according to the office for National Statistics. This was the lowest level since December, 1993, when it was 1.9 per cent.
