TYRONE Productions has announced the appointment of Mr John Masterson as head of television productions, as part of an expansion of its activities. He was formerly a senior producer in RTE where he produced the Late Late Show for the past two seasons. Tyrone Productions is one of Ireland's largest independent television companies, established in 1986 by Mr John McColgan and Ms Moya Doherty. It employs 20 people.
