Ryanair said it withdrew from the bidding for London’s Stansted Airport after it was excluded from the process by Spanish builder Ferrovial, which controls the terminal’s owner, BAA.
Ryanair has written to potential bidders with which it had held discussions to advise them that it will not be seeking a stake in the airport. It had offered to take a holding of as much as 25 per cent. – (Bloomberg)
