THE receiver at Tipperary Crystal, Mr John McStay, is understood to have had negotiations with a number of prospective investors this week, as well as discussion with the unions at the plant. Yeoman, which bought Tipperary Crystal debt of about £1 million from AIB and appointed the receiver, is expected to remain in place as a lender to any new owner. Eighty one workers are employed at the Tipperary plant.
