British rentals group Thorn yesterday announced a profits warning on top of a shake up in the boardroom with the appointment of a new chief executive. The company, which runs Radio Rentals, Crazy George's and rental phone service DER Direct, said financial director Mr Steven Marshall would immediately replace Mr Mike Metcalf who has run Thorn since 1991.
