Acquisition costs totalling $49.7 million (€37.56 million) resulted in Dublin-based technology group SkillSoft recording a pretax loss of $28.3 million last year.

According to accounts just filed with the Companies Registration Office, revenues at the e-learning firm stayed flat at $315.3 million in the 12 months to January 31st this year.
