Limerick has received a jobs boost with 69 jobs coming on stream at microelectronics company ON Semiconductor. This follows plans to invest about €13 million in its design centre.

The investment is expected to generate the high-end engineering jobs over the next four years. Three other Limerick companies – Procad, EpiSensor and RescourceKraft – have also come together to create 10 jobs.
